Why would anybody want to be a freelance technical consultant? We'll I can't speak for anybody else, but in my case the freedom to set my own agenda is pretty high on the list.

Freedom is only useful if you take advantage of it, and I do to the best of my ability. How? through my interest (obsession?) with Paragliding, an amazing form of personal flight that sometimes takes me thousands of feet above the ground, turning circles like a hawk, rising in columns of warm air. My exploits are documented here , more information about the sport can be found on the website of the school I attended or the US Hang Gliding Association (which includes Paragliding)

Photography is also pretty high on my list, I'll get some of my work online one of these days.

I work with Flash animation on client projects, but I also sometimes just like to play... is it art? does it matter?
